Tingjun (Dijkstra) Liu

I am an incoming PhD student in Computational Precision Health at UC Berkeley and UCSF. Previously, I received a B.S. in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, graduating summa cum laude with a 4.0/4.0 GPA and ranking 1st in the McKelvey School of Engineering.

My research interests lie in multimodal foundation models, clinical agentic AI systems, and radiation oncology. More broadly, I am interested in building machine learning systems that are both technically strong and clinically useful.

Outside of research, I enjoy singing, cooking, teaching computer science, and reflecting on society, politics, and philosophy.
